Below are some of the most frequently asked questions patients have about dentistry and oral health issues. If you have any other questions, or would like to schedule an appointment, we would love to hear from you.

Q: Do you accept referrals?

A: We love referrals because we consider them a positive statement about our practice. Dr. Wing, Dr. Mack, Dr. Smith, Dr. Bang and our team look forward to meeting your dental needs and providing service to your friends and relatives.

Q: I really do not like visiting the dentist; is there anything you can do to help me relax?

A: A visit to the dentist may not be how you’d like to spend your time, so we strive to make the experience as pleasant as possible. We offer a variety of comforts, such as heated neck wraps, blankets, and paraffin hand wax. For patients with dental anxiety, we can use nitrous gas or conscious oral sedation.

Q: I want my front teeth to look better, but I do not want to wear braces. What would you recommend?

A: Invisalign will straighten teeth just as traditional metal orthodontia. However, in addition to being clear, Invisalign is removable and easy to clean. They require no adjustment appointments and don’t cause mouth irritation, like straight wire braces can. Veneers can fix cracks and chips that make front teeth look unsightly, but they can also cover slight misalignments to create a straight smile. Dr. Wing, Dr. Mack, Dr. Smith and Dr. Bang will meet with you to determine the right solution to fit your individual needs.

Q: My gums bleed after I brush. Is this something to be concerned about?

A: If your gums bleed, you may have a larger problem, periodontal disease. Left untreated, gum disease can escalate from slightly swollen or bleeding gums to lost teeth and risk of major health problems, like heart attack and stroke. Schedule an appointment as soon as possible so that we can conduct a thorough exam and decide the best course of treatment. Given the opportunity to correct your condition, we can remove damaged tissue, rid the mouth of disease, and help you regain your fresh, healthy smile.

Q: What payment options do you offer clients?

A: We accept all insurances and will file the paperwork as a courtesy. You pay the estimated co-pay, and we will adjust your balance, if necessary, after insurance pays the claim. You are responsible for any balance due after the insurance company pays their portion. Other options include cash, check, and most major credit cards. Extended payment plans from CareCredit and Lending Club are also available.
