Deanna Walsh, Office Manager/Clinic Administrator

Deanna has been in the industry and at this practice since early 1991. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role as Clinic Administrator. She was born and raised in Licking County and attended Central Ohio Technical College. Deanna and her husband, Mark, have three children and four granddaughters. She is pleased to experience what it means to be a grandchldren! In her free time, she enjoys reading, volunteering at her church, volunteering at the Midland Theatre, and working as an Avon consultant. Deanna feels that without the awesome staff we employee, they could not provide patients with the personal, warm, inviting experience each and every one receives.

Autumn M. Zubovic, Registered Dental Hygienist

In 1998, Autumn Zubovic graduated from Shawnee State University and began working as a registered dental hygienist. In 2008, she received her certification to administer local anesthesia. As a part of our team, Autumn enjoys working in a state-of-the-art practice, as well as the interaction she has with different types of people. She continues to make a difference in the lives of our patients by contributing to their well-being. Autumn and her husband Jason have one son, Hunter. On the weekends, she enjoys time with her family, friends, and pets as well as hiking, fishing and shopping.

Jamie Chevalier, Certified Dental Assistant

For more than four years, Jamie Chevalier has worked as a certified dental assistant. She studied dental assisting at the Eastland Career Center and received the Outstanding Student Achievement Award.  She and her husband have one son. During her time off, she likes reading, bicycling, swimming and family time. Jamie focuses on educating people about the importance of good dental health and relishes playing a part in that process for her patients.

Jeanette Haumesser, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Jeanette Haumesser works as our expanded functions dental assistant and has over 23 year experience in the dental field. She received her certification and radiology license in 1984 and became an expanded functions dental assistant in 2004. She has been married for 20 years and has a daughter. Jeanette enjoys the team attitude and working with people. Cars, reading, and motorcycles keep her busy out of the office.

Laura Anne Lange, Dental Hygienist

Laura Anne Lange began working as a dental hygienist in 2000. She attended The Ohio State University BSDH program and has worked in this office since 2001. Laura is also a member of the Central Ohio Dental Hygiene Study Club. With two young daughters and a husband, she stays busy at home, but also finds time for reading, bowling, and playing pool. Laura wants to get to know her patients and to make a difference in their oral health.

Melva Muir, Dental Hygienist

Melva Muir has spent 28 years as a dental hygienist and the last 10 working for this practice. She graduated from OSU with a BA in communications. Married for 10 years, she has two children. Melva loves the staff and working with her patients.

Ashley Lamb, Certified Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions

Ashley began perusing a career in the dental field eight years ago. After several years of experience, she decided to become a certified Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary. Ashley graduated from the EFDA program at Eastern Gate Community College in 2010 and then joined our practice. She loves our patients and is proud to be a part of creating a lasting oral health for them. Ashley Dental Assisting National Board Certified and also maintains membership in the Ohio EFDA Association. When she’s not brightening smiles at our office, Ashley spends quality time with her son, Cole, and boyfriend, Jimmy.

Brandon Walsh, Dental Assistant and Laboratory Technician

Brandon began his dental assisting career in 2008 and is currently student at the Ohio State University earning his bachelor’s degree in biology. But, if you ask him what his favorite part of being a dental assistant, he’ll tell you it’s interacting with happy patients and using his laboratory skills. Brandon lives with his wife Tiffany and two stepsons. In his spare time, Brandon enjoys anything outdoors, especially riding dirt bikes with Dr. Wing!

Cassandra Myers, Dental Assistant with Coronal Polishing Certificate

Cassy joined the team in 2007 as an Honor Student from C-TEC. She is currently a student and on the Dean’s List at Ohio State University. She loves the positive atmosphere of the office, and the way it makes our patients feel secure and at ease. Cassy is a people person and loves meeting new patients, as well as seeing our existing patients, and helping them take care of their smiles. She recently took the leap into homeownership with her wonderful fiance. Cassy enjoys outdoor activities, going to concerts, especially local bands, and reading (when she’s not studying!).

Christopher R. Smith DDS

Dr. Chris Smith, an Ohio native, attended college at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology. He received his DDS from Ohio State University. Dr. Smith then completed his residency at the VA Medical Center Dayton and began private practice in 2005. Dr. Smith is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

When he’s not in the office making our patient’s smile brighter, he’s spending time with his wife, Megan and their daughter. Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his family, working on the house and trying as many different types of food as possible! He is also a big fan of OSU football and loves to watch his alma mater play.

Drenda Cline, Treatment Coordinator

Drenda works as a treatment coordinator for Dr. Smith. Her warm and happy demeanor certainly makes an impression on our patients. She truly enjoys the compassion she and her coworkers share for our patients, as well as the care and attention each patient receives from our doctors. Her family includes her significant other Chris and his son as well as her younger sister, Trista, a niece, Leah, and a nephew, Mason. Her family is her life and when she’s not at the office helping a patient, or hanging out with the kids, she enjoys scrap booking, gardening, cooking and watching football and movies.

Katrena Kasbek, Dental Assistant

Katrena attended the Ohio Institute of Health Careers and joined our practice in 2010. She adores our patients, loves her peers, and feels that our practice is her home away from home. A self-professed adrenaline junkie, Katrena has been skydiving (we know, we can’t believe it either!) and will try just about anything new and exciting! Katrena fills her weekend with working out, attending sporting events and spending time with family. She’s also recently married to James Kasbeck.

Kristen Klingerman, Dental Assistant with Coronal Polishing Certificate

Kristen has worked in the dental field since 2009. She is a graduate of Lakewood High School and The Ohio Institute of Health Careers. She lives with her husband Nick and their dog Fonzie. In her spare time, she enjoys singing in the church praise band. Kristen loves the practice, her co-workers and the willingness of the wonderful doctors to help the patients.

Stacy Bowman, Certified Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions

Stacy received her certification in 1993, her radiology license in 1995, and her Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary certificate from Ohio State University in 1998. She’s also CPR certified, so you know you’re in good hands when Stacy is chairside. She loves the quality of dentistry provided by our practice and appreciates being part of such a cohesive team. Stacy is mother to three boys and has two step-sons. She and her husband Scott enjoy spending family time together boating, camping, hunting and attending their sons’ sporting activities.

Lindsay Ortega, Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator

Lindsay fills a couple of roles on the staff. She works as both a receptionist as well as a treatment coordinator. Lindsay graduated from Licking County Christian Academy and has a certificate in event planning from Ashford University. Married to George, Lindsay has two stepdaughters. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and providing a happy home for her family. The fact that everyone in the practice has the same goal of providing all patients with excellent care is something Lindsay likes about the office. Making others smile makes every day a great day.

Sheila Penley, Insurance Coordinator

As the insurance coordinator for the office, Sheila brings twenty years of insurance industry experience to her position. Sheila and her husband Tim have one daughter. Sheila enjoys racing dirt track cars with her family. Sheila loves everything about her job; the doctors, the staff, the patients and the fast paced environment.

Bethany Priest, Hygiene Coordinator

Bethany is a graduate of Granville High School and works as the coordinator for the Hygiene Department. In her free time, she volunteers for the Licking County Look Up Center. Bethany has three children and a significant other, Robert. She likes the upbeat, positive and professional atmosphere of the office. She also enjoys interacting with the patients and knowing that they are receiving the absolute best service and care possible from a wonderful group of dentists and staff.

Mary Kerns, Marketing Director

With over twenty years of sales and marketing experience, Mary brings a great deal of knowledge to the practice in her role as Marketing Director. Prior to joining Wing and Mack, she worked with JP Morgan Chase and Stewart Title Agency. Mary has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from The Ohio State University, is a member of The National Association of Professional Women and the Ohio State Alumni Association. She also serves on the Advisory Board for Licking County LEADS Headstart and is a Notary Public in the State of Ohio. Mary lives in Granville with her husband Ken. They have two children, both students at Ohio State. Mary enjoys spending time with her family and all things Buckeye!!

Linda Myers, Receptionist

Linda Myers has been in the dental field for over twenty years and currently works as the receptionist in the practice. Her previous experience includes working as a dental assistant. Linda attended the Career Academy for dental assisting. She lives in Heath with her husband David. They have four children, two sons and two daughters, and four grandchildren. Linda is a member of Southgate Church of Christ and in her spare time enjoys walking, spending time with her grandchildren and volunteering at church and in the community. Linda enjoys working with the warm and friendly staff in the office. She finds interacting with the patients very rewarding.

Wendy Nethers, Treatment Coordinator/HIPAA Compliance

Wendy works as the treatment coordinator for Dr. Mack. In addition, she it’s the HIPAA Coordinator for the practice. She has four years of experience in the dental field as well as experience in the insurance industry. Wendy has a bachelor degree in business administration. She and her husband Jack have twin daughters. In addition, Wendy has a son and a daughter. Her hobbies include gardening, painting and spending time with her family. In addition, Wendy enjoys the family atmosphere in the office and the fact that the entire staff love what they do. She likes working with the public and helping them obtain a healthy smile.

Karen Bates, Certified Ohio Dental Assistant

Karen is a Certified Dental Assistant and received her training at the Ohio Business College. She is engaged to be married to Ryan and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Karen loves the fact that everyone on the staff is willing to go the extra mile to make our patients feel welcome. She also says that is easy to wake up every morning knowing that she gets to work along side her wonderful co-workers and provide excellent dental care

Tiffany Black, Dental Assistant

Tiffany has been working as a Dental Assistant for three years. She completed the dental assisting program at the Ohio Institute of Health Careers. While in high school, Tiffany was listed in Who’s Who among American High School Students. She is the mother of two and enjoys watching Jeopardy and movies. She also collects elephants. Tiffany likes the fact that the entire staff, from the front desk to the cleaning staff care about one another and the patients. She is always confident when she goes home at night the she and her co-workers have made someone’s dental experience a positive one.

Tonja Cope, Certified Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions

With twenty-seven years of experience in the dental field, Tonja brings a great deal of knowledge to the practice. In addition to her dental assisting experience, she also has over twenty years of experience as a dental lab technician. Tonja earned her expanded function certification from The Ohio State University. Her family includes her husband, Steve, and her two children.

Heather Clark, Certified Dental Assistant with Coronal Polishing Certificate

Heather joined the practice in 2011 as a Certified Dental Assistant. She received her certification from the Ohio Business College in 2008. She is also certified in coronal polishing and sealants. Heather’s hobbies include her pets, being outdoors and spending time with her family. Heather lives with her husband Adam and her son. She enjoys the friendly, fun, caring feeling of the office and loves working with the wonderful patients and staff.

Dawn Cheney Baker DDS

Dr. Baker joined the practice in 2010. She is a graduate of the Ohio State University School of Dentistry. Prior to completing dental school, she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from OSU graduating Magna Cum Laude. She began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant with expanded functions. She is a member of the CDA, the ODA and the ADA. She and her husband Ben have are the parents of one son. They also have two dogs, Mars and Beamer. Dr. Baker enjoys vacationing, playing with her son and spending time with her family and friends.
